Imported with British colonists in the 1800s, hares have woven themselves into the fabric of Australia and now form an important part of the live prey diet of our beloved Wedge-tailed eagles.

Self-reliant and self-aware, these noble sentinels remind us of the need to tread lightly on these lands.
